These colorful glass tiles are called ‘Picasso Windows’ for their painted edges and windowpane shape. Handmade in the renowned Jablonecs region of the Czech Republic where glass making is a centuries old tradition, their colorful geometry inspires this vibrant collection.
About the Artist:
Stefanie Wolf draws inspiration for her vibrant pieces from the power and beauty of the ocean, the magic of island life, and the energy of the natural elements she incorporates in her designs. Stefanie searches high and low for the most exceptional stones, glass, silver, gold, and ceramic elements for her work. She pays special attention to the journey taken by each element on the way to her design studio and does everything possible to ensure ethical and sustainable sourcing. A year-round resident of Martha’s Vineyard, Stefanie creates all of her work by hand in her studio in the Oak Bluffs Arts District. When she’s not creating jeweled treasures she can be found on the beach, in the water, on a surfboard, or in a boat, most likely with her husband Chuck and daughter Sofia.
