Vineyard Haven • Edgartown (888) 227-8275
On the Western tip of Martha’s Vineyard in the peaceful town of Aquinnah are the colorful clay Gay Head cliffs. The small Vineyard town of Aquinnah, home to the Wampanoag tribe, was called Gay Head until 1997. The cliffs are an ecologically protected area and part of Moshup’s Beach, named for the legendary Wampanoag Chief.
