This small but highly popular beach is centrally located in Oak Bluffs. It was named in recognition of the tightly knit summer community of prominent African-Americans in the town of Oak Bluffs. Inkwell Beach is the inspiration for Matty Rich’s 1994 film “The Inkwell."
