This charm remembers the large, graceful Linden tree that stood for years on Main Street, Vineyard Haven, next door to the Capawock Movie Theatre. The Linden tree was a favorite meeting spot and home to the various bread and bake sales for local clubs and charities. We lost the original Linden tree several years ago, but a new one grows in its place.
