Tiny Grape charm

# X1-331

In 1602, British explorer Bartholomew Gosnold christened the island of Martha’s Vineyard by combining the name of his infant daughter with the recognition of the abundance of wild grapes growing across the Island. In 1971, C.B. (Cheryl) Stark made her original “Bunch of Grapes” to commemorate the Tisbury tri-centennial. This was the first time grapes were symbolized as jewelry to represent the Vineyard.
