pINKWELL TM is an annual celebration hosted by members of the Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. The event takes place on the historic Inkwell Beach in Oak Bluffs on the third Thursday in August. The Sorority Sisters' gathering draws hundreds of attendees from far and near - essentially painting the Inkwell "pink." Bonds of friendship and family are strengthened in the spirit of fun while raising money in support of several on-island entities including Niantic Park and Oak Bluffs Council of Aging.
